Welcome to ClaimCue ("ClaimCue," "we," "our," or "us"). By using ClaimCue, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. We default to keeping your purchase data on your device — AI runs only on the items you explicitly send.

Introduction & Who We Are

ClaimCue ("Receipt & Warranty AI") is operated by Prince Chaudhri, Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, India. Email: support@claimcue.app. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), ClaimCue acts as the Data Fiduciary for personal data processed through the app.

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the ClaimCue mobile application for iOS and Android, AI-powered receipt scanning and drafting features, related support communications, and our website legal pages. It does not apply to Apple, Google, Anthropic, RevenueCat, or Supabase, which maintain their own privacy policies.

Information Stored Only On Your Device

Purchase records, receipts, return tracking information, warranty information, complaint or issue notes, purchase line items, reminder schedules, evidence images, attached files, app preferences, and settings are stored locally on your device using an on-device SQLite database. ClaimCue does not provide cloud synchronization or cloud backup for this data.

Information Sent for AI Processing

When you voluntarily use AI-powered features, selected receipt images/PDFs or relevant purchase and issue details may be transmitted for processing. AI requests flow from your device through Supabase Edge Functions to Anthropic’s Claude API. This may involve cross-border processing in the United States. We do not permanently store scanned receipt images or generated drafts on our own servers.

Backend Information We Store

We store limited backend information using Supabase infrastructure hosted in the United States: device identifiers, AI credit balance, subscription tier, credit refresh date, and usage events such as AI action type, timestamp, platform, and app version. We do not store your name, email address, receipt contents, purchase details, receipt images, warranty images, or uploaded evidence files.

Subscriptions & Payments

ClaimCue offers optional Pro subscriptions. Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store full payment card details. RevenueCat manages subscription infrastructure and entitlement status.

Device Permissions

Camera and photo library permissions are used only when you choose to capture receipts, upload evidence, or scan invoices. Local notifications are used for return deadline, warranty, and follow-up reminders. ClaimCue does not access location data, contacts, background location, or advertising identifiers.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate the app, provide AI receipt scanning and drafting, maintain subscriptions and AI credits, prevent abuse, improve reliability, provide support, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your data for advertising profiling or targeted advertising.

Legal Bases for Processing

For users in the EEA, United Kingdom, or similar jurisdictions, we process data under performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligations.

AI Features & Third-Party Processing

By using AI features, you understand that submitted content may be processed by third-party AI providers, outputs may contain inaccuracies, and data may be processed in the United States. We do not use submitted AI content to train our own AI systems.

Sub-Processors & Third Parties

ClaimCue uses Anthropic for AI processing, Supabase for backend hosting/database, RevenueCat for subscriptions, Apple for App Store billing/distribution, and Google for Play Store billing/distribution.

Data Sharing & No Sale

We do not sell personal information, share personal information for advertising, use third-party advertising SDKs, use advertising identifiers, or provide targeted advertising.

Data Retention

On-device data is retained until you delete it or uninstall the app. Backend device identifiers, subscription status, and AI credit records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for operational and legal purposes.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards including encrypted network communications, restricted backend access, secure infrastructure providers, and authentication controls. No system can guarantee absolute security.

International Data Transfers

ClaimCue is operated from India. Some processing occurs in the United States through Supabase, Anthropic, and RevenueCat. Where required, we rely on appropriate legal mechanisms for international transfers.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, erasure, withdrawal of consent, grievance redressal, restriction, portability, objection, and information about disclosures. Contact support@claimcue.app. We may require reasonable verification.

Children’s Privacy

ClaimCue is intended only for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18.
